I am glad you are back.I tried reading through couple of posts but didn’t really find a concrete answers. Is there a way to completely avoid using admin-ajax.php? I see no option to disable it and it really takes a told on my website performance. Any help would be appreciated.

This is definitely possible, however the tracker will not be able to collect client-side information like screen resolution etc. Also, if you configure Slimstat to not use admin-ajax.php, you will need to deactivate any cache you have, because the plugin will need to run the code server-side for each page view. I’m not sure that’s ideal. However, if you still want to do that, go to Slimstat > Settings > Basic, set “Tracking Mode” to Server and “Track Client Info” to OFF.

    Best,
    Jason
