In the version 1.0.8, TP Image Optimizer will support auto-updating images and compress images with cronjob, allowing users to optimize their images without opening the browser window.
The compression schedule is a great idea for image optimizing plugin, so we will review and add it to the next versions.

Thanks! I saw version 1.08 just release. Did you have some documentation to set cron task?
We dont use cronjob to set schedules, we use cronjob to run optimization in background. You can close website but optimization still working until it is completed.

We use your plugin to compress our photos. It’s really cool. We have to compress almost 3000 photos, but after using the button “One Click Opitimize” compresses only 2-4 photos and hangs. The status of “Total optimized image”, “Uncompressed image” and “Processed” is the same. Refreshing the page does not help. After using “Stop” and “One Click Opitimize” compresses only 2-3 images again. We compiled only 130 photos for 4 days. What could be the reason? Please help us!
