Automatic Adsense or not?

    Hi

    Thanks for the plugin, it’s excellent! I’m curious about the plugin in relation to Adsense.

    If I add the following code in the Head file:

    <script data-ad-client=”ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxx” async src=”https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js”></script&gt;

    Chrome in the console show the error

    TagError: adsbygoogle.push() error: Only one ‘enable_page_level_ads’ allowed per page

    My Question is: The Site Kit dynamically insert that code in the head or somewhere on my website, or there is an error related to the plugin, because I did the test by removing it manually in the head and the error disappeared, but also the automatic insertion of adsense, the plugin covers that aspect of the automatic publication of ads or not?

    Thanks for opening a support topic, and great to hear your comments on the plugin.

    In relation to your question your assumption is correct, you don’t need to manually insert any AdSense code into your site if you’ve connected the Site Kit AdSense module, and allowed Site Kit to insert the code for you.

    The console error you were encountering came about as a result of you manually placing the snippet, alongside the Site Kit placed snippet. To ensure best practice either remove your manually inserted AdSense Auto ads snippet or switch off the toggle within Site Kit so that the plugin doesn’t insert the snippet.
