Please try add test post with simple text for every language.
Test it and let me know about result.
with just one textbox per language it works (visually the tab still swiches but saves the correct language).
I just used a saved template on the first tab and it happend again. feels like there is an issue when there is too many content (Textblocks, Imageblocks , Shortcodes). I keep testing!
Maybe some element (from WPBakery library) in editor breaks correct work.
Now I know one issue with WPBakery element.
If I add source text to second tab with video in iframe then text will be reset after clicking save post.
To fix it I have changed block from text editor with iframe to video with link to video hosting.
And text was saved as expected.
Ok β found the error.
It’s happening when using the wordpress gallery shortcode.
What gallery shortcode do you mean?
Please share with me the example of code for default language, for extra language.
when using this in the first tab: [gallery ids="349,109,99" link="file" type="default" caption="default" masonry="default" width="" height=""]
the second tab is saving the content from the first tab. no matter what’s in the second tab (empty or just a textblock …)
Are you inserting shortcode into text block ?
Yes. Is there another way I can create a wordpress gallery-shortcode in another page builder block?
ok without any shortcodes it worked until now.
but it just overwrote my first tab with the second tab content…
all I did was correcting some text in both languages…
now all my layouting, textediting and settings from my main languages of the page is gone -.-
… went back when reloading the backend. very buggy system π
feels like I allways have to manually switch to the first tab before saving to avoid those “sometimes it works, sometimes not”-bugs.
I have the same problem, when switching languages ββand saving the content of another language flies, in the classic editor (in wordpress code) everything is saved. But it really hurts that I can not edit the page in different languages ββin different languages ββwithout switching to the standard wordpress editor.
@designconnection I have exactly the same problem.
Any answer or new release that solve this bug?
