Auto compression not working

    I have auto compress enabled and webp version set. The files uploaded files are not being automatically compressed and there is no webp version being created. No errors that I can see.

    Hi @ether3ric!

    Automatic image compression is done in the background. So you can be sure that newly uploaded images will be compressed within an hour after upload, as the task that handles the compression runs hourly.

    For the WEBP issue, please provide the address to your website so I can investigate this.

    <font _mstmutation=”1″></font>I have the same problem. Compression does not work. I disabled WP-Cron and use Cron server.

    They resolved this issue and it is not resolved! They gave an email and then did not follow up because the website url was wrong. Manual compression is not working, compression an hour after uploading is not working. I paid for premium. This will be my last year.
