Authentication error

    Hi,

    I’m for many years a German affiliate of amazonPartnerNet. Now I tried to authenticate with your plugin. After entering my credentials for authentication I received the following notification:

    Failed authentication.
    Error: 429 Too Many Requests ; TooManyRequests: The request was denied due to request throttling. Please verify the number of requests made per second to the Amazon Product Advertising API.

    I changed several times the keys but it doesn’t work. Please what’s wrong?

    Hi,

    Please test your PA-API keys with ScratchPad and make sure your keys are okay.

    Also, you might want to try the development version 4.4.0b03 which adds the ability to check how many times the plugin performed PA-API requests. To check that in v4.4.0+, go to Dashboard -> Amazon Auto Links -> Reports -> PA-API Request Counter. If you see something unusual there, let me know.

    Also, you might want to enable the site debug mode. After enabling it, go to Dashboard -> Amazon Auto Links -> Reports -> Debug Log. There, you can check which URLs are requested and when. If you see paapi5 URLs in a very short period of time, post the relevant log entries. At least one second interval is required not to get blocked.
