    Hello,

If we use the Classic Editor on Posts and select the ‘WebPage’ page type and ‘Article’ article type, the schema always outputs a page-based schema, rather than an article-based schema.

This is only happening if we use the Classic Editor.

    E.G:

    <script type="application/ld+json" class="yoast-schema-graph">{"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"WebPage",

    Rather than:

    <script type="application/ld+json" class="yoast-schema-graph">{"@context":"https://schema.org","@graph":[{"@type":"Article",

    Hello @porterdan

Thanks for reaching out but I was unable to replicate what you described. Creating or editing a post in the Classic Editor didn’t make a difference. Once I select the ‘WebPage’ page type and ‘Article’ article type, I get the Article Schema.

It might be an issue specific to your setup. Also, ensure all your plugins and theme are updated to the latest versions.
