‘API Key Missing’ message

    I’m at the post page, trying to generate TTS for a previously published post. When I click the ‘Generate’ link, I get this error message: API KEY MISSING – Please add your ElevenLabs API key in the settings.

    I previously generated TTS for two posts but deleted the files to make adjustments. There were no problems with the initial generation.

    Tried a new API key. Plugin shows the key as valid and “Connected”. Still getting the error.

    Hi, and thank you for your message.

    We just fixed this issue (v.1.1.2) where invalid API keys were mistakenly shown as valid. This has now been resolved — only valid API keys will now show as “Connected”.

    Please deactivate the key that gives you the message “API KEY MISSING – Please add your ElevenLabs API key in the settings” and re-save & validate it. This will perform the correct API check and make sure the API key is valid.

    I updated the plugin. Deactivated the key. Created a new one; connected it. Still having the same problem.
