    Hi Daniel,

I’m quite an experienced user. When i set up altcha for CF7 to display “captcha” and send a message without checking the altcha box it is autocompleted. That’s normal I suppose? The message is being sent – but the AJAX spinner below the form gives no feedback, just keeps on spinning.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Hi, the autocompletion can be disabled with the option “Auto verification” (set to “disabled”), this will request the user to check the box. Maybe that’s causing this issue. You can also inspect the developer console in the browser if there are any javascript or network errors.

    hi daniel,

checked for your hint and many more i could imagine being the cause. none fixed the error. so i disabled all my 29 plugins. and reenabled them 1:1.

https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/smtp-mail/ is the cause. As soon as this one is active the spinner keeps on spinning endlessly.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-smtp-mailer/ this one works with altcha. Maybe add this to the docs?

Thank you for making the world a more private place!
Would love to see if you could get API mode GDPR-conform.

    Cheers
    Frank
