All updates hanging

    Hey guys,

    Ever since I switched to using multisite, all my updates whether it is plugins or WordPress core update, it hangs.

    For example, the WordPress 3.5.1 update that just release. It would say downloading….and it hangs…But if I wait about 2-3 minutes and then I reload the backend, it apparently did update the core.

    This also happens with plugins. Same symptoms.

    Note that before it was multisite, it was all working fine.

    Anyone experiencing this?

    Sometimes, like if I update while I’m getting a massive amount of traffic. Are there any errors on your server’s PHP error log?

    Traffic logs seems to be normal and no spikes that I can see during the update.

    The error log consistently shows this but I don’t think it is related to this issue but nonetheless quite curious why I am getting this error after multisite.

    WordPress database error Unknown column ‘spam’ in ‘where clause’ for query SELECT COUNT(ID) as c FROM wp352352_users WHERE spam = ‘0’ AND deleted = ‘0’ made by do_action_ref_array, call_user_func_array, wp_update_network_counts
