AJAX TOC?

I so hope this plugin hasn’t been abandoned as I really like it.

I’m curious if there is a workaround/plans to develop for the ability to have the TOC auto-reload when headings on the page disappear/reappear. I could always build something myself, but it’d be good to know for future projects if this is a dependable quickie solution.

Details: Basically I am using it on a page with A LOT of groups on it that can be easily navigatable using the LuckyWP TOC, or by filtering the page using a custom AJAX filter. If there are no results in one of the groups it (and its heading) goes away. Unfortunately, the heading still remains in the TOC despite no longer being on the page.
