Hi, thank you for the great plugin. This is my first testing and i hope to get away from GF.

    What i found:
    1. After successful submission of the form, the page does not scroll enough, leaving the message behind the header and clients wondering if it was sent.

    2. If one submits again after a first successful submission and forgets to fill a mandatory field it gets to see the error message, but the Success message from the previous submission is still showing. Now one sees error and success message at once. This is bad.

The whole messaging after submission is very important, i hope you can improve it and make it impossible to miss.

    Thank you,
    B.Anders

    Hi B.Anders,

Thanks for using Caldera Forms, we’re happy you’re a part of our community.

The link you shared is giving me a 404 Not Found error. However, I did take a look at your site and I can see that the “sticky” menu in your theme is your problem. Your theme’s CSS is effectively sticking the menu in a way that actually covers, rather than pushes down, your site content.

You can resolve this by using a different theme, or simply putting your Caldera Form further down the page.

As for your second question, are you putting two Caldera Forms on the same page? What you described would be the expected behavior. You might want to try something like our Redirect processor to take your user to the next “form page” after submission. https://calderaforms.com/doc/caldera-forms-redirect-processor/. So you would set up a form on each separate page, and then use a redirect processor to go from form page #1 to form page #2.

Hope this helps! As always, we’re happy to help out here in 5-7 days. All Caldera Forms paying subscribers get Priority Support at calderaforms.com/support.
