    Hello,

For the past three months, I have been unable to update the Essential Addons plugin without encountering an issue.

Each time I install a new version, the Advanced Tabs widget no longer works properly: not all tab contents are displayed (only 2 out of 4 tabs). The tabs work correctly in the editor but not on the front end.

This issue occurs consistently and is resolved only when I restore a previous backup of my website, which prevents me from using the latest versions of the plugin.

    – All plugins are up to date (Elementor Pro : Version 3.34.0 – Essential Addons for Elementor : Version 6.5.5)
    – Browser and site caches have been disabled,
    – Files and assets have been regenerated.

Could you please help me identify the cause of this bug and provide a fix?

Thank you in advance for your support.

    Best regards,
    Lou

    Hello @louiseperaldi,

Thank you for reaching out and for the detailed explanation.

I tried checking your site, but it currently appears to be in maintenance mode, so I could not inspect the Advanced Tabs on the frontend. Please check this screenshot for reference: https://d.pr/i/ieKVRd

In the meantime, please run a quick conflict test on your end by following these steps:

Plugin conflict check: Often, issues like this happen because of a conflict with another plugin or the theme.

Go to your WordPress Dashboard → Plugins. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except Elementor, Elementor Pro (if you are using it), and Essential Addons.

Then check if the Advanced Tabs issue still occurs on the frontend. If the issue is gone after this, it means one of the other plugins is causing a conflict.

Enable plugins one by one: Reactivate your other plugins one at a time, and after each activation, check the page with the Advanced Tabs to see when the issue returns. This will help identify exactly which plugin is conflicting.

Theme conflict check: Additionally, please switch temporarily to a default/lightweight theme such as Astra, Flexia, or Twenty Twenty-Three, then check the page again. This will help confirm whether the issue is related to your current theme.

Once you have the results of these tests, please let us know how it goes. Thank you!

    Hello @sadmansakibnadvi,

    Thank you for your feedback.
I rebuilt the entire page, and the issue now appears to be resolved.
I guess it was likely related to the database.

    Have a good day 🙂
