Admin UI not working

    Hi,

    I have had this problem where I just cannot get any admin UI to display at all: not for create / edit post types, not for taxonomy, not for forms. I can create new custom post types and taxonomy, but only the form field for name is offered.

    I am not running any plugin here that I have not used successfully with ACE Extended elsewhere.

    Also, no errors in error logs. I event went round disabling quite a few plugins, but no change. Also, installed and then re-installed with no success either.

    So, I am stumped as to what could be causing this. Been with this situation for more than a week, hoping not to need to trouble you for support.

    Will appreciate any suggestions that could help me figure out what’s going on … what’s affecting ACFE. Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the feedback! I’m not sure to really understand what is going on your install. Can you share few screenshots from your admin UI? It may give some hints.

    From what you’re saying, it looks like you got some misconfiguration, or a heavy plugin incompatibility. This problem probably arised after some changes on your website (site migration, plugin/theme install…), as this is not the normal behavior of a clean WordPress + ACF Pro + ACFE install.

    In order to isolate the cause of the issue, I would recommend the following steps:

    • Make a full backup using Duplicator
    • Install that backup on your local environment
    • Disable all plugins one-by-one (except ACF Pro + ACF Extended)
    • Switch to the native WP Twenty Twenty One theme
