Adding different social media icons

    Hello,

    I’ve just set this new Singl blog: https://jijiangfasheng.wordpress.com. It is on wordpress.com for the moment, but will be transferred soon to wordpress.org on a private domain.

    The main audience is in China Mainland, thus I would like to add links to my Chinese social medias in the social media menu, such as Weibo and Youku. However the preset icons don’t include those media. Is it possible to add personalized icons?

    Hi there, Singl uses icons from Fontawesome for the social icons, so you would need to see if the icons you need are available in that particular font. If not, you would need to use custom CSS to add those icons.

    First off though you would need to create a Child Theme and then copy the following files over from the Singl theme into the like folder structure on your Child Theme. Then you will have to either add to the existing social icons, or edit some of the existing in order to get the social services you are wanting to add.
