Ad Block Detection not working

We are trying to use the Ad Block Detection to display a popup to users.

But we’re finding that the Chrome AdBlock extension, one of the most widely used extensions to block ads, doesn’t seem to trigger anything.

Is this a known bug? Or is there something else we should be doing here?
