Activation mail

    Hi,
    the plugin is very useful and easy to use.
    Since I set the inscription has to be moderated before activation, the only issue I have is about self-sending email after I activate a new subscriber account.
    I tried to disactivate every other plugin, but that mail never goes out.
    Please, could you suggest an how-to?

    I would suggest installing another pluging (Post SMTP) which will let you verify that your email settings are correct. It will provide you with a little more debug information to help you find any issues. It might be that your email is going out but not being received, or as you suspect it might not be being sent at all. I find the Post SMTP plugin great for solving email issues (and improving email delivery success rates by using an SMTP server rather than the default WordPress PHP Mail function).

    I’ve just installed the plugin you suggested, and now everything is ok!
    Your help was so quick and effective: successful.
    Now both mails (subscription and activation) have been sent.

    P.S. – Before writing to you, I installed an other similar plugin (wp mail ftp) that told me the mail couldn’t be sent. The one you suggested, gave at once a positive answer.
