A lifesaver multiple times

Updraftplus backups have saved me more times than I care to count. I run it on all my clients’ sites and it’s the first thing I install after security.
If it only did backups that would be enough, but the ability to instantly clone and migrate sites make it so incredibly valuable. I recently inherited a site that was several major WordPress versions behind, but I had to update it without downtime. So I created a clone with Updraftplus and did all the surgery on that, taking note of any issues. Later I was able to repeat the process on the live site (knowing exactly what the issues were ahead of time) and was able to bring WordPress and all plugins to current versions without any downtime.
