    After installing version 7 on my multisite installation, the dashboard tab is not available. It is not available to enable under screen options either. I deactivated all plugins, but no difference. I then used WP Rollback to install an earlier 6.4.8 version of easy updates instead and the dashboard is there! I then update to version 7.0.0 and it is gone again. I’m wondering if this is something unique to me, or is anyone else with multisite experiencing this?

    This shouldn’t be happening. Is your rest api wkrking? It needs a working rest api,

    @dgranja,

    Perhaps I misunderstood. The dashboard has been removed and replaced with General options.

    After reading tutorial after tutorial, the dashboard is always skipped. Our data showed that most people install this plugin for automatic updates, so we made it the second option.

    The dashboard will not be coming back as it just confused users.

    Ok, then I’m good! Thanks for the update.

    That’s so sad! The general tab has to load on each button click, which can be so time consuming, wile the dashboard was sleek and quick.

    Could you eventually bring it back as an option in settings ?

    I also try to come back to an earlier version without success. Have I to erase all Database info to to this. If so can you show a dev starter how to ?

    Best.

    after resetting the plugin settings, then deactivating and subsidiary uninstalling all versions, I re-installed a 3.6.. version and Dashboard was back.

    A few screenshots helped me to remember my prefs’.

    Enjoy.
