When I use a mobile to access my site, I find the homepage loads fine. Click on a post and it loads, only moments later the search bar flashes another pageload starts and then a 404 error comes up. It’s rendering the mobile site unuseable, so I have turned off WPtouch.

I’m not sure when it started, but wonder if it is related to recent plugin updates. I’ve browsed solutions and wonder if it might be a conflict with WP-Optimize, though I have the separate cache for mobile pages ticked in their settings. I also use Yoast SEO and wondered if it was that. I have tried turning off both without effect. I have also purged the WP-Optimize cache without joy.

    Any thoughts?

ur website isnt too bad w/o wpt, but while the shop link on the homepage works, from any other page i get

    Misdirected Request

The client needs a new connection for this request as the requested host name does not match the Server Name Indication (SNI) in use for this connection

Thanks @airdrummer – have been investigating this error with Bluehost this morning, not sure it is resolved yet. Their tweaking has not affected mobile device 404 errors though.

my website has also started suffering the load/404 issue…btw, back goes to the desired post…the 404’d link is the desired post’s url with a ‘/undefined’ appended…resolved by rolling back to v4.3.46

Thanks again, @airdrummer. I had tracked down the appended bit, eventually, but didn’t find a solution. I’ve rolled back as you suggested and all is good now. Hopefully, next update will sort it 🙂

Ah. I meant I’d discovered the result, not the cause…
