Word Widget is a widget that allows a user to view and scroll text line by line from .txt, .docx, .odt, and .pdf* files.

*Disclaimer: Text from a PDF must already be embedded in the PDF in order to extract it.

Word Widget allows for multiple instances of the widget to be active with different .txt, .docx, .odt, or .pdf files displayed in each one.

Word Widget can be dynamically re-sized using a custom home launcher that supports widget re-sizing.

Instructions:
Add word widget like you would any other widget to the screen.

The file manager configuration screen will be displayed. Browse through available .odt, .txt, .pdf, or .docx files on your device and select the one to use.

You also have access to general settings and color settings. General settings include font size, file tailing, and number of lines to tail on the file. Color settings include background and font colors for the widget.

What is file tailing? File tailing limits the content displayed to the specified number of last lines in the file.

To alter the configuration of a already displayed Word Widget, simply tap on the settings button on the widget. To reload the contents of the widget simply tap on the reload button. To scroll up and down line by line tap on the up and down arrows. Widgets do not allow for holding down of buttons. The buttons must be tapped in order for the command to be recognized properly.
