The Woodhaven Community is a revival of the East Rome, New York neighborhood that was once home to the residents of the former Air Force base until the mid-1990s. In 2017, all previous structures were demolished to make way for 250 new construction single-family homes. Two floorplan styles are currently being offered to potential homebuyers and renters: The Woodstock and The Gansevoort. During phase one of construction, 27 homes will be built in these two styles – a 1,600-square-foot two-story 3-bedroom home or a 1,400-square-foot ranch-style 2-bedroom home. Both homes offer unique tax incentives throughout the pilot program.
