I got a job!

It is at a prestigious company that is in the Aerospace industry and has been for many years. It's a contract position that has a good chance of going direct hire. It will be at least $2/ hr more than what I was making :) Plus it's in Catia, which is a 3D modeling program I just love.

I received an ebay email this morning that looked like your typical message from ebay when a member contacts you with a question. But there was something wrong: this was a question pertaining to shipment of an item that I did not or never have had for sale.

When I hovered my mouse over the "Respond Now" link, I got this website address:

http://1112179655/horde/config/redirect.php/.../domain=signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll%20SignIn/

The messages that come from ebay are this address:

http://contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?M2MContact&item=260006090957&requested=ps28fl&qid=2642753530&redirect=0&sspagename=ADME:B:AAQ:US:2

This was a phisher link that redirects to a page that captures your ebay username and password.

Just wanted to make you all aware of this: some of you may not know about it.

What is with the asshats that can't follow rules in adult picture communities? Do they not realize that an LJ cut is required for some images? Do they also not care that some ppl view from work and having a pic come up on the screen unexpectedly of three people implying oral sex completely naked may not be appreciated at your workplace?

Yes, I surf the net at work. The boss doesn't care -we all get our work done. Most companies are waaaaaaaaay more lax about this now and you can surf the net at work. This is the main way a great deal of ppl remain in contact with their families.

I have a big beef with something that is going on in a comm or two in which I participate.

People are EAGER to assume the worst about anyone : even when they don't know the other side of the story. I think that people need to stop looking for vilification of their sad pathetic lives and stop posting things that create drama without the "other" side of the story being told.

I would NEVER take a one sided story and believe anything about it unless I had experienced it first-hand. I have been on the receiving end of this as well and can tell you that no one has ever known the other side of the story in any of the situations: they have based their judgments solely on the facts and statements of others.

What make the human being so susceptible to believe the worst about people when they have only heard one side of the story? What in human nature makes certain people this way? I really need to know this from my readers, because I don't get it. Someone please enlighten me..........'cuz right now I haven't got a fuckin' clue.
