President and CEO
Craig McLaren
As the visionary CEO and founder, Craig created the engineering, development, and production framework that set the stage for WOLF’s present-day success and its future growth. By instituting an organic product development approach that begins with a focus on the customer’s goals, Craig has ensured that WOLF’s research and production are market-demand focused. With dozens of products that have been used in thousands of missions over air, land, sea, and in space, Craig has positioned WOLF’s operational team to maximize the use and integration of rapidly emerging technologies from partners like NVIDIA, AMD, and Xilinx, to enhance the success of missions for years to come.
Craig founded Wolf Advanced Technology in 1999 (as Wolf Industrial Systems) specifically to focus on military-grade electronics for graphics processing. Prior to founding WOLF he was the owner of MICS Inc.
Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Greg Maynard
Greg joined Wolf in 1998 as Operations Manager and became responsible for day to day product development, production, and product management. With deep knowledge of Wolf’s unique technical capabilities, Greg was promoted to Chief Technology Officer in 2016, and is a key executive that ensures strategic sales and engineering efforts are closely mapped to market demand. Greg drove key technical and operations advancements at WOLF including the implementation of a materials requirements planning software platform, the use of custom field programmable gate arrays, the information technology infrastructure, materials handling procedures, the establishment of development software and tooling, and quality goals.
Chief Quality Officer (CQO)
Jacqueline McBeigh
Jacqueline joined WOLF in 2017 as Director, Quality Engineering and was promoted to Chief Quality Officer (CQO) in April of 2024. Jacqueline comes from a progressive Quality focused background having held leadership roles in various industries including Military, Aerospace and Nuclear Power Generation for global innovators such as Honeywell, GE and Siemens. Jacqueline is responsible for setting and executing strategic direction for quality at WOLF which includes managing our AS9100 QMS, various continuous improvement strategies, maintaining Quality in partnership with WOLF’s supply chain, and maintaining industry leading quality performance.
Chief Strategy Innovation Officer (CSIO)
Syd Shere
Syd is the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer at Wolf Advanced Technology, where he leads corporate and product strategy, program management, and technical publications. With over two decades of experience across aerospace, defense, transportation, and high-tech sectors, Syd previously held leadership roles at Celestica, TTC, Johnson Controls, and Honeywell. He holds a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from McGill, an MBA from Schulich, and is a graduate of the ISU Space Studies Program. As a certified PMP and P.Eng., Syd has earned multiple awards for leadership and innovation and plays a key role in driving WOLF’s long-term strategic growth and innovation initiatives.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Mark Donatelli
Mark joined WOLF in 2024 as Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for overseeing the company’s accounting and finance functions in addition to working closely with the company’s external financial partners. Prior to WOLF, Mark was at Wave Financial in the capacity of Finance Manager, Northbridge, a Fairfax Financial Holdings Company in the capacity of Senior Analyst in Corporate Finance and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in the downtown Toronto Financial Services practice. Mark has also taught Financial Reporting & Analysis at Wilfrid Laurier University in the MBA Program. Mark was awarded the CBV® designation in 2018, CFA® designation in 2014, admitted to CA® membership in 2012, and completed the Canadian Securities Course in 2007.
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Jeff Manuel
Jeff joined WOLF in October 2010, initially supporting Product Qualification and Technical Writing before advancing to lead Production Test and Integration in 2014. He later directed Design Validation for new product introductions and was promoted to Director of Production Operations, overseeing production, inventory, logistics, scheduling, and assembly. Now Vice President, Jeff leads procurement, daily operations, and supply chain management for external manufacturing. With an Advanced Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology, he has played a key role in streamlining processes and driving operational improvements. As such, he significantly contributes to the quality of the products at WOLF.
VP, Engineering
Artur Saakov
Artur Saakov is the Vice President of Engineering at Wolf Advanced Technology, where he leads the development of advanced hardware solutions for rugged, high-performance computing systems in defense and aerospace applications. With over a decade of experience in analog, digital, and mixed-signal hardware design, Artur brings deep technical expertise and leadership to complex engineering programs.
He has a proven track record in all phases of hardware development, and his design proficiency includes high-speed FPGAs, SoCs, ADC/DACs, DDR memory, power systems, and embedded firmware development.
VP, Finance
Eva Golchuk
Eva joined WOLF in 2018, in a position as Controller and was later promoted to Vice President of Finance in 2020. As Vice President of Finance at WOLF, Eva aides in leading the company’s financial strategy, planning, and operations, ensuring alignment with its long-term growth objectives. With over two decades of experience in corporate finance, she brings a deep expertise in financial management and strategic leadership.
As a key executive at WOLF, Eva plays a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth and profitability. She assists in major financial initiatives, including implementing advanced financial reporting systems, optimizing capital allocation, streamlining cost management processes, and enhancing risk assessment protocols. Her leadership ensures that WOLF’s financial operations remain agile, efficient, and well-positioned for long-term success.
VP, IT and Security
Utpal K. Patel
Utpal joined WOLF as Vice-President of IT and Security in June 2024 to lead enterprise-wide technology operations and cybersecurity strategy. He is responsible for overseeing daily IT and security functions, including infrastructure, network operations, user support, security architecture, compliance, and risk management. With over a decade of experience across the defense, aerospace, retail, and financial sectors, Utpal brings a broad perspective and a deep understanding of secure IT environments. At WOLF, he has led initiatives to modernize infrastructure, strengthen cybersecurity resilience, and ensure that technology programs are closely aligned with business objectives. Utpal also plays a key role in guiding executive leadership on matters of cyber risk, governance, and innovation.

Katie Eley
Katie is the Vice President of Human Resources at Wolf Advanced Technology, where she leads HR strategy for a team of over 100 employees. Since joining as Director of HR in 2022, she has championed a culture of collaboration, engagement, and growth, earning promotion to Vice President in 2024. Katie oversees recruitment, talent development, employee relations, and HR policy, serving as a trusted advisor to leadership. She has led key initiatives in engagement, retention, and recognition, including training programs and feedback sessions. Known for aligning HR strategy with business goals, Katie plays a vital role within the company.
Sr. Director, Engineering (Thermal & Mechanical)
Dennis Vit
Dennis Vit is the Senior Director of Engineering at Wolf Advanced Technology, where he leads multidisciplinary teams developing embedded systems for aerospace and defense. With decades of experience, Dennis has held senior roles at Firan Technologies and Macdonald Dettwiler & Associates. He was a key contributor to NASA’s Shuttle Program recovery, earning multiple NASA awards for his work on the LIDAR-based Inspection Boom Assembly. His expertise spans avionics certification, robotic innovation for Universal Studios, and patented surgical devices. Dennis’s career reflects a legacy of technical leadership and cross-industry innovation.
Director, Engineering (Firmware & Software)
Weber Luo
Weber is the Director of Engineering for NPI Software and Firmware at Wolf Advanced Technology, bringing over two decades of experience in embedded systems and product development. Since joining WOLF in 2017, he has progressed from Senior Firmware Engineer, to leading a growing engineering team. His role includes oversight of software, firmware, design verification, and program management. Previously, he held senior roles at Imagine Communications. Weber holds a BASc from South China University of Technology and is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.). Known for his focus on innovation, technical excellence, and delivering high-performance solutions, Weber applies his expertise in everything he does.
Director, Innovation
Austin Lindquist
As the Director of Innovation at Wolf Advanced Technology, Austin leads R&D, rapid prototyping, and new product design for edge computing and AI imaging solutions in aerospace and defense. He joined WOLF in 2024 and previously served as Senior Engineer of Innovation, developing thermal solutions for high-power embedded systems. Austin holds a Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from the University of Toronto, where he studied quantum systems. His prior experience includes roles at Dana Incorporated, focusing on automotive thermal systems, and Foqus Technologies, where he implemented quantum algorithms using advanced spectroscopy. Austin’s expertise plays a vital role in driving WOLF’s continued success with mission-critical innovation and R&D work.
Director, Manufacturing (Production)
Prem Arun
As Director of Manufacturing at WOLF, Prem brings decades of experience across electrical engineering, IT, and telecom. After earning his Electrical Engineering diploma and a postgraduate qualification in Computer Hardware, he began his career at HAL and worked on major electrical infrastructure projects across India. His global experience includes roles at Wipro, Qatar Petroleum, and Nokia, where he was a pioneer in GSM infrastructure. Prem joined WOLF in 2018 as a Senior Technologist and was later promoted to Director. He has since led key initiatives in PLM implementation, MRP optimization, and manufacturing process improvements, driving operational excellence and innovation.
Director, Quality Configuration
Neil Taylor
Neil has been a key contributor to WOLF since 2000, beginning as a Production Consultant and expanding his role across MRP development, procurement, logistics, and customer service. With deep expertise in inventory management, ERP/MRP systems, inside sales, and contract negotiations, he has contributed to the enhancement of WOLF’s operations. As a certified IPC trainer, Neil helped to develop a world class Inspection Team and was promoted to Director in 2024. He promotes the company’s quality assurance strategy, driving compliance to industry standards while meeting customer expectations. Neil is a champion of continuous improvement.
Engineering (NPI & HW/PCB/DV)
New Product Introduction & Hardware/Printed Circuit Board/Design Verification
Focuses on managing the transition of new products from the design and development phase into full-scale production. Their role is critical in ensuring that innovative products are efficiently and successfully introduced into the market while meeting high standards of quality, performance, and manufacturability. By bridging the gap between design and production, the team plays a pivotal role in accelerating time-to-market while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, cutting-edge products.
Engineering (Thermal & Mechanical)
The team is responsible for designing and optimizing the thermal and mechanical systems that enable the performance, reliability, and durability of WOLF’s high-performance embedded computing solutions. This team’s focus is on addressing the unique thermal and mechanical challenges presented by compact, high-power electronic systems used in demanding environment applications. Combining expertise in thermal and mechanical engineering, this team ensures that WOLF’s products operate reliably and efficiently in the most challenging environments while meeting the rigorous demands of the aerospace and defense industries.
Engineering (Firmware & Software)
Responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing the firmware and software that powers WOLF’s advanced high-performance embedded computing products. Their work enables seamless integration and efficient operation of WOLF’s hardware solutions within diverse and demanding applications. The Firmware and Software Engineering team ensures that WOLF’s products deliver exceptional performance, reliability, and usability for the most demanding applications. Their expertise drives the innovation and functionality of WOLF’s advanced technology solutions in a variety of use cases including WOLF’s Frame Grabber eXtereme (FGX) FPGA.
Finance
The Finance department manages the financial health of the company by overseeing budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and strategic financial planning. The department ensures WOLF Advanced Technology operates sustainably, achieves financial goals, and maintains its competitive edge in the market. They serve as a key partner to all other departments by enabling informed decision-making and supporting the company’s growth.
Logistics
The Logistics department is responsible for managing the flow of materials, products, and information across the supply chain to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and operational excellence. This department plays a crucial role in supporting WOLF’s high performance embedded computing solutions by coordinating the movement of components and finished goods while adhering to industry standards and customer expectations. By efficiently managing the movement of materials and products, the logistics department ensures that WOLF Advanced Technology can meet production schedules, satisfy customer demands, and maintain a competitive edge in the high performance embedded computing market. Their efforts are critical for the seamless operation of the company’s supply chain.
Operation Services
The Operations Services department is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of the company’s operational processes to support the delivery of high-quality products and services. This department plays a key role in optimizing resources, maintaining operational efficiency, and ensuring that all departments function cohesively to meet our customers needs.
Product & Program Management
Responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of WOLF’s products and managing the execution of key programs and projects. This department ensures that products are delivered on time, within scope, and meet both customer and market requirements. They act as a bridge between internal teams, customers, and stakeholders to coordinate efforts, manage resources, and align execution with program goals.
Procurement
Responsible for sourcing and acquiring the materials, components, and services needed for the company’s operations, including product development, manufacturing, and logistics. This department ensures that WOLF has access to highest-quality materials and services at the right cost, on time, and in compliance with industry standards and requirements for our customers. This department is a critical link in delivering high-quality, innovative solutions to customers on time and within budget.
Production
Responsible for manufacturing and assembling high-performance embedded computing products. This department ensures that all products meet strict quality, performance, reliability and testing standards while adhering to production schedules and program application objectives. The Production department plays a critical role in transforming designs into physical products ready for delivery to customers.
Quality
The WOLF Quality department ensures that all products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance with industry regulations. This department plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction, product performance, and adherence to industry and regulatory requirements. The QA team collaborates with all departments to implement quality systems, conduct inspections, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Their work is essential for customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and the company’s overall product success in the demanding aerospace and defense market.

WOLF’s sales and marketing teams work with customers to identify application solutions, promote WOLF’s products and solutions as the leader in high performance embedded computing at the edge, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
