WMMT is Appalshop's public, community station, which means that we rely on the generous gifts from our fantastic listeners as well as local businesses and organizations. With a 15,000-watt transmitter high on Pine Mountain and nine translators throughout the region, WMMT broadcasts throughout Eastern Kentucky, Southwest Virginia, Southern West Virginia, parts of East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. We also have unlimited listeners worldwide on our internet stream.
