Rami Bazzi

Group Chief Operating Officer

A seasoned executive with 20+ years of experience in leading business groups. He worked extensively with large family groups in the GCC. He is a Certified Professional Director. Holds an MBA and MSc in Finance from Concordia University in Canada. He has also earned a BSc in Computer Science from the Lebanese American University in Lebanon.

Diren Dorai Raj

Group Chief Financial Officer

Diren is a UK qualified Chartered Accountant (FCA, ICAEW) with Ernst & Young, London. He spent more than 15 years in Automotive with Jardine Cycle & Carriage, Audi Asia Pacific (a division of Volkswagen Group Singapore) and Volkswagen Group Singapore and Saudi Arabia in a Group Finance role. In addition, he has worked 2 years as a COO/CFO for non-profit entity (British School in Singapore) and 3 years as Deputy Group CFO at a Private Equity firm. He then joined a GCC family-owned Group in 2018, Saleh Al Hamad Al Mana as Group CFO for a mix of Automotive, Fashion Brands, Food & Retail and a large hotel & residences. He has in excess of 34 years work experience.

Hani Al Khusaibi

A professional HR leader who has worked in many companies in different areas over the past 18 years. Holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, UK, a bachelor’s degree in Law from the Arab Open University – Lebanon, & an accredited international certificate in management & leadership from the Swiss-based IMD institution.

22 years of experience in different fields. Worked as GM Government Affairs at Towell group, AGM Support Services Towell Engineering Group, Head of HR & Admin Towell Construction and much more. Khalid now is the Head of Business Development & Government Relations at Towell Group.

Jagruti Samani

Group Chief Internal Auditor

Jagruti Samani is a CA, CISA, CIA, CMA, CFE, ICWA, Certified Corporate Director. She has also cleared her PMP certification examination. She has over 3 decades of rich experience in Internal Audit, Internal Control, Risk Management, Investigation and strengthening of corporate governance framework. She was the Chief Internal Auditor, Khimji Ramdas (KR) Group, where she led a complex SAP ERP implementation project. After working for almost 14 years with the group, she moved to India in 2015, where she handled Internal audit assignment for various groups across industries. She returned to Oman in 2023 as the Group Chief Internal Auditor with W J Towell where she continues to drive governance, excellence and control frameworks across the organisation.

Beyond her executive role, Jagruti serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Entremonde Polycoaters Ltd. (India),  where she chairs the Nomination and Remuneration (NRC) Committee and is also a member of its Audit Committee.

Passionate about leadership and personal growth, she actively mentors young talent and also likes to help people navigate their path and embrace their purpose being a Certified Life Coach.

Hemant Desai

Group Financial Controller

Hemant is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA, USA) and holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Mumbai. With over 35 years of professional experience, Hemant has held senior leadership roles across the FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Retail, and Automotive industries. He spent more than 17 years with Johnson & Johnson Inc., overseeing finance operations across South Asia and Southeast Asia, and served as Regional CFO for Southeast Asia in his last position. Subsequently, he worked as Regional CFO – Asia Pacific with Asia Pulp and Paper (Sinarmas Group) based in Indonesia and as Group CFO – South Asia region with Essilor Luxottica Inc., based in Bengaluru, India. Before joining WJ Towell Group, Hemant was the Group CFO of OTE Group (part of the Suhail Bahwan Group, Oman).
