Sometimes you need to insert custom code into your site for many reasons. If you have a huge project and require a lot of custom snippets, please consider using child theme or write a new plugin.
If you need to insert only a few pieces of code (PHP code, Javascript, CSS..), you can use this plugin. We personally use that plugin.
