The War Industry Resisters Network (WIRN) came together in 2022 as a loose coalition of over 30 local anti-war organizations in the U.S. The common bond for all of us at the time was our focus on the war profiteers making a killing off killing – Lockheed-Martin, Raytheon (RTX), General Dynamics, Northrup-Grumman, Boeing, and all the rest.

While we initially hoped to be a kind of hub and clearinghouse for activists, we soon realized the magnitude and difficulty of coordinating that kind of national undertaking. With no funding or staff, we instead took on the task of analyzing and publicizing the nature of this beast through monthly webinars.

Over time, the webinars have addressed all the various tentacles of the war industry, including the weapons corporations, media, think tanks, universities, financial institutions, domestic policing, and more. Areas of attention have included Ukraine, Palestine, China, Cuba, Venezuela, the US Borderlands, Cop City, the climate crisis, conversion of the war economy, and more. Local resistance efforts to the war machine have also been highlighted. 

This webpage houses the recordings for WIRN webinars. It reflects and offers informed perspectives on the continuing predation of the U.S. empire and the resistance to it.
