Note: The app is called Wire Ampacity and not Circuit Ampacity. This app does not specify the size of an over-current device, simply the AMPACITY of the wire (i.e. #14 75 degree wire has an ampacity of 20A, but should not be used with a 20A breaker).
The calcs are base on the 2008/2011/2014 National Electric Code (NEC).
