What is PANAL™ Technology?

PANAL™ technology generates micro-bubbles that remain attached to the ship’s hull, creating a lubricating layer between the hull and water. Unlike conventional air lubrication systems (ALS), which can reduce propeller efficiency, PANAL™ keeps nearly 80% of its bubbles on the hull surface.

The system requires no hull perforations or compressors, reducing maintenance and operational risks. By improving vessel efficiency and performance, PANAL™ aims to help the shipping industry meet the IMO 2050 emissions targets through a new approach to naval architecture.
