Oliver T. Moses is the Managing Partner of WindRose Health Investors and serves on the Management Committee of the firm. Oliver has spent the last 30 years as a healthcare industry investor and advisor. Prior to joining WindRose in 2006, Oliver was a Director of Merrill Lynch’s healthcare investment banking group, where he was responsible for advising leading healthcare companies on mergers, acquisitions, and capital structure strategies. Oliver began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1994, and prior to joining the investment banking team, he was a healthcare-focused securities analyst in Merrill Lynch’s equity research department.
Oliver currently serves on the boards of directors of CardioOne, CIVIE, Dragonfly Health, Healthmap Solutions, MyndYou, and Shearwater Health. Oliver previously served on the Boards of AGS Health, basys, MDsave, myNEXUS, Vital Decisions, and Workplace Options. Outside of his professional work, he is the Chairman and Founder of Sanctuary Care, a health center that provides free healthcare to children in Liberia. He also serves as a Trustee of The Brick Presbyterian Church.

Adam Berger
Operating Partner
Adam Berger is an Operating Partner at WindRose Health Investors, focusing on artificial intelligence. Prior to WindRose, he led technology at Amazon for a healthcare delivery service, Amazon Care, that served patients in all 50 states. Before that, Mr. Berger was CTO at UPMC Enterprises, where he and his team helped launch new ventures in domains such as clinical decision support, quality analytics, telemedicine, and clinical trial administration. Earlier in his career, Mr. Berger founded two venture-backed startups, Eizel and Penthera, where he served as CTO.
As a computer scientist, Mr. Berger has presented at international conferences in machine learning, natural language processing, and information retrieval. He has received 25-year test of time awards from both SIGIR and ACL. Early in his career, he worked at IBM Research, where he helped develop the world’s first statistical machine translation system. He holds over 20 issued US patents.
Mr. Berger received his PhD in computer science from Carnegie Mellon University and his BA in physics from Harvard.
Dr. Matthew W. Brubaker

Dr. Matt Brubaker is Chief Executive Officer of FMG Leading, a human capital advisory firm that creates world-class organizations at the intersection of humanity and high-performance. He has over 25 years of experience, with a particular expertise in health care and private equity executive leadership development, conflict resolution, pre-acquisition organizational assessment, and post-acquisition culture integration and strategy design. Dr. Brubaker’s client list includes a broad range of industry-leading organizations, including The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Deloitte, CNN, TeamHealth, Massachusetts General Hospital, Hackensack University Medical Center, Alliance HealthCare Services, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Chevron, DaVita, Janus, and Microsoft. A recognized thought leader on the subject of human capital strategy, his work has been published in Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Chief Executive Magazine, Fast Company, and Private Equity International. Dr. Brubaker earned his Master of Arts degree in Dispute Resolution at the University of Massachusetts, and his Doctor of Education in Organizational Change (Ed.D.) degree from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. He currently resides outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his family.
Charles (Chuck) W. Byrge II

Chuck Byrge is the CEO and President of Harpeth Capital. Mr. Byrge directs Harpeth Capital’s investment banking, venture capital and fund placement business. He has more than 28 years of experience with capital raising and M&A transactions for middle market companies.
Prior to joining Harpeth Capital, he was a Senior Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at FTN Financial Securities, the investment banking arm of First Tennessee Bank (NYSE:FHN), where he was involved in opening and directing the New York and Nashville offices. Prior to that, he was Managing Director and Co-Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at SunTrust Equitable Securities (now SunTrust Robinson Humphrey), where he was responsible for directing a wide variety of assignments for both public and private companies. Previously, Chuck was a senior member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Department at Morgan Keegan & Co and a Vice President at NationsBanc Capital Markets in Dallas, Texas where he co-directed the M&A practice for the Southwestern U.S.
Chuck received a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. Chuck is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a former Certified Public Accountant with Peat Marwick and Ernst & Young.
Chuck currently serves on the Entrepreneurship Advisory Council of Vanderbilt University’s Center for Technology Transfer and Commercialization and the Nashville Healthcare Council’s Fellows Alumni Board. Previously he has served on the Board of the Nashville Healthcare Council and as a Director of NextGxDx. Peter J. Crowley

Peter Crowley joined WindRose Health Investors in 2011 as an Operating Partner. Mr. Crowley retired from CIBC World Markets in April of 2008. Mr. Crowley spent 23 years at CIBC World Markets, the last fourteen as global head of healthcare investment banking. As global head of healthcare Mr. Crowley was involved in over five hundred transactions and over $30 billion of capital raised and transactions consummated. Transactions include public and private equity and debt financing’s and mergers and acquisitions transactions for biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical devices, healthcare services and healthcare technology companies. Mr. Crowley was also heavily involved with the healthcare principal investments made by CIBC Capital Partners. Prior to CIBC Mr. Crowley worked for Allen & Company in venture capital and Blyth Eastman Paine Webber in mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Crowley is a board member of the Foundation Fighting Blindness and New York Eye and Ear Foundation. He is also on the board of the following private companies: Anabios, Shearwater, RoslinCT, RevHealth, BPD, SubjectWell and Veristat. He is a committee member of the Harvard Alumni Association and member of the council of Rockefeller University. Mr. Crowley was formerly on the boards of healthcare companies including Progenics, Medical Knowledge Group, Celerion, Woodbury Health Products and consumer companies including Bare Escentuals, Jurlique, Frette, La Perla and Ouidad. He was also formerly an Operating Partner at JH Partners, a consumer focused private equity fund with close to $1 Billion under management.

Throughout his career, Mr. Daitz has distinguished himself as an architect and builder of organizations focused on bringing innovative healthcare services to the marketplace. He currently serves on the Board, and as an advisor to, three technology-enabled healthcare services businesses, Bluestone Physician Group, Workplace Options, and Cosan LLC.
Previously, Mr. Daitz was Co-founder, CEO and Executive Chairman of Vital Decisions, an organization dedicated to ensuring that the care of individuals experiencing a serious illness aligns with their values and changing preferences throughout every step of their health journey. Prior to Vital Decisions, he was co-founder and CEO of IntrinsiQ Research, a leading oncology electronic medical record and information company acquired by a private equity firm in 2006 and now a business unit of Amerisource Bergen. He was also the President of Datamonitor, Inc., an international healthcare market advisory firm, and management consultant with Deloitte Consulting. Mr. Daitz holds an engineering degree from Rutgers University and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Cherrill Farnsworth

Cherrill Farnsworth is an influential national expert on health care change and an entrepreneur who has started seven successful companies over the course of her career. Nationally recognized for her achievements, she has received the KPMG Peat Marwick High Tech Entrepreneur of the Year Award and the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The National Association of Specialty Health Organizations has named her “Most Influential in Specialty Health.”
Houston named her a Woman on the Move as early in her career as 1986. In 2015, she was elected to the prestigious Committee of 200, a membership organization of the world’s most successful women entrepreneurs and corporate innovators. Also, Farnsworth is an active elected member of the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation.
Ms. Farnsworth is a regular speaker at business and health care symposia. Since 1984, Ms. Farnsworth has been a regular spokesperson before the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). She has testified on the need to regulate quality in radiology at the House Ways & Means Committee and Congress. She is also a member of the National Quality Forum (NQF), which was formed by the U.S. Senate in response to the Institute of Medicine’s report on medical mistakes.
Jonathan B. Gavras

Dr. Jonathan Gavras joined WindRose Health Investors as an Operating Partner in 2023 after over 25 years as a senior health care executive. He currently serves as Board Chairman for CardioOne, in addition to board positions for Healthmap Solutions and Shearwater Health.
Dr. Gavras has held senior leadership positions throughout multiple sectors of the health care system. His career has focused on improving performance and outcomes while driving health care innovation. Among many roles while at UnitedHealth Group, he was their National Medical Director and Southern Regional President for Medicare Advantage. At Florida Blue, as their Senior Vice President of Delivery System and Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Gavras developed innovative provider solutions with noted improved market performance. Accomplishments included the first Oncology ACO, and the meaningful deployment of industry leading reimbursement models. These efforts led to his election as the first member from a commercial payer to the Healthcare Financing Management Association (HFMA) National Board of Directors. While at Florida Blue, Dr. Gavras was also the founding President of Guidewell Health, the provider services division of Guidewell. Other notable positions include the Chief Medical Officer at Prime Therapeutics, where he led specialty pharmacy strategy and as President of Avalon Healthcare Solutions, the first comprehensive laboratory benefit management company. Before becoming a full-time health care executive, Dr. Gavras had a successful clinical career in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
Dr. Gavras holds a BA in Chemistry and Psychology from Case Western Reserve University, and a Medical Doctor Degree from New York Medical College. He completed his training in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine at the University of Rochester where he also served as Chief Medical Resident.
David R. Gibson

WindRose Operating Partner David Gibson has over 35 years of executive, private equity, professional services, and board experience. Mr. Gibson has been working as an Operating Partner since 2010. His work with WindRose has been in many areas, ranging from portfolio company board chair and member, executive management, strategic advisory and transaction preparation and execution. Previously, Mr. Gibson spent nine years with Gibson & Rechan, LLC, an interim management and restructuring advisory firm he co-founded. Before that, he spent eleven years with Alvarez & Marsal, Inc. where he was a Managing Director and provided executive management and company advisory services. He began his career with Arthur Andersen & Company where he was a Manager and CPA and provided M&A due diligence and audit services. He graduated from New York University with a Master of Arts in Economics and the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Michael B. Hammond

Michael Hammond has focused on the healthcare services industry for over 35 years. During this time, Mr. Hammond has advised many leading healthcare companies in the development of turnaround and reorganization strategies. Among his many clients, he has completed engagements recently for Catholic Health Initiatives (CO), Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (CA), Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Geisinger Health System (PA), John Muir Health (CA) Sutter Health (CA), Texas Health Resources, Trinity Health (MI), Virginia Mason Medical Center (WA), and Barnabas Health (NJ).
Prior to the formation of H2C, Mr. Hammond was a founder of Shattuck Hammond Partners Inc. in 1993, a member of the board and management committees, and served as the President and CEO of PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities when Shattuck Hammond was owned by PWC (Shattuck Hammond was sold to Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. in 2007). Prior to co-founding Shattuck Hammond Partners, Mr. Hammond managed the healthcare investment banking businesses at Salomon Brothers and Morgan Stanley, and was a Principal at Cain Brothers, Shattuck & Company. Prior to joining Salomon Brothers in 1978, Mr. Hammond practiced law at Brown and Wood.
Allen J. Karp

Allen J. Karp is the Executive Vice President of Healthcare Management and Transformation at Horizon BCBSNJ. Mr. Karp has responsibility for Horizon BCBSNJ’s health care value strategy and clinical and network operations. He also leads the pharmacy, behavioral health and health care analytics organizations.
Mr. Karp has over 30 years of health care experience in leading health care delivery and service organizations. His innovative approach to health care delivery models provides experienced leadership as Horizon BCBSNJ leads a transformation away from fee-for-service to a value-based model that rewards doctors and hospitals for quality, cost-effective care and enhanced member experience.
Prior to joining Horizon BCBSNJ, Mr. Karp held senior leadership positions with Coventry Healthcare, Aetna and MedPartners Inc. He served as Senior Vice President at Coventry Healthcare where he led its national network and the development of the company’s Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and high-performance network strategy. He has implemented numerous innovative value-based models with hospitals and physicians in several states. He was also responsible for First Health, a Coventry Healthcare Company providing a national, integrated PPO network.
At Aetna, Mr. Karp held the position of Vice President of Healthcare Delivery, where he developed regional and national network strategy and managed provider contracting, clinical operations and medical economics. Mr. Karp also held the position of President of the Eastern Division for MedPartners where he had responsibility for multiple physician groups and independent practice associations (IPAs) with revenue in excess of $1 billion.
Mr. Karp previously served on the Board of Directors for Cota, which builds solutions for health care to analyze, visualize, report and manage real-world evidence. He was a member of Cota’s finance and compensation committees. He also served as Co-Chair of the Board of the Newark Museum of Art, Chair of Innovate R/X and the Boards of Abacus Insights and the Horizon Foundation. He currently serves as lead director for Outcomes Matter Innovations and the Advisory Board of Forge Health.
In 2018, Mr. Karp was named as a Leader in Health Care in the NJBIZ Vanguard Series for his work in pioneering the implementation of value-based health care in New Jersey and ROI NJ Influencers in Healthcare in 2019 and 2020.
Mr. Karp earned a bachelor's degree in commerce from Rider University and a master's degree in business administration from Wilmington University.
Bob LaGalia

Bob LaGalia is a healthcare executive with more than 30 years of experience building, scaling, and leading innovative healthcare companies across various sectors of the industry. He joined WindRose Health Investors as an Operating Partner in 2025 and currently serves as Board Member and CFO of Healthmap Solutions and as a Board Member of CardioOne.
Bob spent the past 10 years as Chief Executive Officer of Unified Women’s Healthcare, transforming the business into the leading women’s health platform in the U.S., serving more than 2,800 affiliated providers across 22+ states. Prior to Unified, he held senior leadership roles at several high-growth healthcare organizations, including EVP, COO, and CFO of Cogent Healthcare, a national hospitalist physician specialty company; Chief Growth Officer and CFO at CareCentrix, a post-acute home health management company where he tripled revenues and co-developed a market-leading hospital readmission risk product; and co-founder and President of National Imaging Associates, later acquired by Magellan Health Services. He also held key management roles at Quest Diagnostics and Corning, Inc., a Fortune 500 technology innovator where he began his career. Bob earned a BS in Finance from the University at Albany, State University of New York, and is a CFA Charterholder. He is an active board member of Women’s Health Access Matters (WHAM), a globally recognized nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing awareness and accelerating funding for women’s health research.
Juan Vallarino

Mr. Vallarino has more than 35 years of experience in the health care industry. He has held key management roles in various sectors of the industry, physician practice management, institutional providers, and health care insurance companies, as well as his own consulting practice.
Mr. Vallarino spent 21 years with HCA and its predecessor companies. Most recently he served as Vice President of Employer & Payer Engagement for HCA with responsibility for over $30 billion in net revenues. During his tenure with HCA, he has held positions in Government Programs Compliance, Home Health Services and Physician Management Services. Prior to HCA, Mr. Vallarino served as Senior Vice President of Development for FPA Medical Management.
Mr. Vallarino last served as Chief Executive Officer of myNEXUS, having previously served the company in a Vice Chairman and a strategic advisor role since its inception. In April of 2021, he oversaw the successful sale of the company to Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. He currently serves on the various board including North American Partners in Anesthesia, Trumpet Behavioral Health and Brave Health and serves as a strategic advisor to several other healthcare companies. Mr. Vallarino also serves on the Board of the Grameen Foundation, a globally renowned organization focus on addressing poverty.
