So the antibiotic I am on is clindamycin (300mg 4 x a day)...which I am almost positive I have taken before in my life but not 100% certain. I'm only on my third dose out of 40 (jeebus) but my stomach already hates me for it. :P No vomiting or diarrhea (yet) but LOTS of nausea and general ew. Have any of you taken this medicine? Reactions? Advice for making it less yucky?

I am stocking up on yogurt already.

EDIT: Spoke to the nurse and she said the tummy issues should work themselves out in a day or so. Just watch for diarrhea and make sure to eat yogurt.

Also, probiotics are considered FOOD in the US and therefore not prescribed regularly. WTF?? Something so beneficial and it's so expensive... Will be getting some anyway, as I think they are a good idea to have on hand.

So... I ended up in the ER last night due to my incision hurting like hell and looking rather unpleasant. Doctor takes a couple swabs, tells me to clean it and that it looks like a minor skin infection caught early, sends me home. YAY! Right??

FUCK.

Woke up an hour ago--shirt soaked--smelling like my puppy literally shit on me. Puss and blood, oozing EVERYWHERE. Woke Robin--trying not to panic, feel sick--more nerves than anything. Fucking thing is still draining and day surgery doesn't open for another hour. Not making another trip to the ER. Gonna try and talk to one of the nurses in day surgery. Trying not to panic, but fuck, this is how si,ple operations go REALLY bad, when shit gets missed.

So here I am, awake, scared and just wanting to feel better. Please?
