Windows Agent by N-able Technologies is a lightweight service that connects Windows endpoints to N-able’s remote monitoring and management platforms. It continuously gathers system health and performance data, inventories hardware and software, and enforces policies defined by administrators. The agent alerts on issues such as low disk space, failed services, and performance anomalies, helping technicians identify and resolve problems before they impact users.

In addition to monitoring, the Windows Agent enables secure remote management, including scripted tasks, automated maintenance, and patch discovery and deployment as configured in the management console. It integrates with remote control, security, and backup tools available within the N-able ecosystem.

Designed for MSPs and IT teams, the agent installs quickly, updates automatically, and communicates over encrypted channels. It scales from single sites to large, distributed environments, providing centralized visibility and control over Windows servers and workstations.

Windows Agent is developed by N-able Technologies and is used by 56 users of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 9.5, 10.0, 10.1, 10.2 and 12.3. The name of the program executable file is WindowsAgent.exe.
