View MoreMay 3, 2026, the 123rd day of 2026 Enjoying the 123rd Day It is hard to believe it is already the 123rd day of 2026 and that we are already into May. It is crazy how fast time seems to be moving forward. This morning the early clouds gave way to sunshine. And though there was a cool breeze, the warm sunshine made for a nice day. 66°F for a high made for an enjoyable temperature as well. It was a good day to be outside. I don't think we will need to put on the woodstove tonight. We started it up a few days this week because of the damp chill and we needed to bake a cake anyway. Since we needed to put it on another day as well, we decided to make some French Toast which always cooks better on a cast iron grill on top of the woodstove. We also made another pot of soup and simmered more spiced tea. We might as well take advantage of the days it is on, as pretty soon the idea of warming up the house will not be an issue. But at this time of year it is not that unusual for it to be more comfortable to be put it on for a bit, here and there, to take the chill out of the air. The plant growth is still pretty slow, but the tree buds are opening a bit more. Plants are growing a bit higher. I actually saw daffodils blooming at one sister's home, while another sister, not much farther from her, still had piles of unmelted snow. Actually they both still had some snow piles, but one had daffodils too! They were so bright and shouted Spring! Ours have not bloomed yet, but they will probably shoot up any time now. It is the way of daffodils amd other Spring bulbs. One day nothing and then blossoms everywhere! It was nice going to church without the need for a jacket this morning, just a light overshirt. It had been a pretty chilly week, though yesterday it started it warn up. Two warm days in a row, wow! After church my sister and I went shopping and got some coffee. We recorded a few of our "Warrior Sisters for Christ" videos. Sometimes we record them at different places, though her home is the most convient now. This time of year can get busy fast, so we do not want to get behind, as I need to upload them and schedule them when I get to WiFi. It is hard to believe that on the 21st it will be our 6th anniversary of recording Warrior Sisters for Christ and then uploading them to YouTube. God has been doing so much in our lives and in the world at large over these 6 years. Then we went to my home where she visited a bit with the family and we prayed together. That is always a blessed time. Afterwards it was time to greet Luciel again, who had been waiting patiently in my daughter's arms. My sister held him, cuddled him as usual, but this time almost got a hair trim. He has gotten pretty fast at grabbing any stray hair and chomping at it speedily. But she was pretty fast herself, so he went for her shirt. Cotton fabric is so tasty I guess, if you are a baby goat--any goat actually. I am pretty sure she made it unscathed, though. He cannot be snuggled quite so close anymore with that mouth of his, unless he is fast asleep. Luciel really enjoyed the visit. My sister has been visiting him every week since he was born, so he gets pretty excited to see her. Then he enjoyed jumping on his rock pile obstacle course. He is such a smart little goat. Life on the farm is always unique. Each day is filled with so much to bring a smile. Stay strong! Enjoy each day as it comes and find the blessings within them. There are so many! NAN

I think that about the people who are against the Jews, simply because the Jews are Jews. There is something so crazy about the rants of anti-semites that is not even rational. Are they actually saying the Jews are that powerful, that organized, that they, as a bloodline can affect everything in the entire world that anyone can be blamed for? Wow, that is not just calling them the people of God, but God Himself! No one else is that powerful! And God doesn't even bother with everything that everyone is doing everywhere right now. He is keeping a record of it for judgment day, but in most cases God leaves most people to their free will choices and their consequences. Prayer is the calling upon God to intervene in the affairs of men, but few use that avenue. Why would an entire people, scattered across the world, persecuted and struggling, working hard and overcoming obstacles, be responsible for all the woes of the world? This was believed before they got their land back. It is not a new thing. Jews have a long history of persecution. Why would hard working people, who struggled to make a barren wasteland--the land finally returned to them--a flourishing country, be responsible for the hateful attitudes of those who make war with them instead of making peace and prosperity for their own people? Is it jealousy? Is it envy? Do they covet what blood, swear and tears has accomplished because they do not want to put effort into making anything beautiful and worthwhile? Maybe so individually. But it would take more than that. What is it? Why of all people, across all the world, are the Jews picked upon in such a way? Why of all nations is this sliver of a nation picked upon and pieces of it expected to be whittled away and given to those who hate and war against them? It makes no sense because it is not an Earthly battle. It is a spiritual battle. And since Satan has hated the people of Israel from the very start, simply because God chose them, to hate them is to side with Satan. And since Jesus came through the line of Judah, Satan wars against the Jews the most. And hates them more than any of the tribes of Israel. Satan hates them. But God loves them. He still considers them His chosen people. He is working with them throughout all of history and will not surrender them to evil for long. And those doing the evil will be punished. God considers the treatment of them so important that blessings and curses come along with how they are treated. Blessings for blessing them. Curses for cursing them. Not only individuals, but nations are held responsible for how they treat His people. That is God's prerogative. It is not our prerogative. To the very end of time nations have been earning blessings or curses that God will pour out in the last days. Personally, I would rather be earning blessings. Nationally, I would rather be earning blessings. Even in countries that are enemies of Israel, the people themselves do not need to follow their leaders, and many of them do not. Many of them are waking up and questioning the ways of their leaders. Individually we do not need to follow the idiotic insanity that those under the influence of evil spew out. Many in nations that hate Israel are turning to Jesus and finding salvation in Jesus, the most perfect Jew that ever existed! Stay strong! Choose what side you are on, choose Jesus! And pray for Israel. God still calls Hinself the God of Israel! NAN

Of all the debts that were ever paid on behalf of another, the debt that the world of people from the beginning of time until the end, was one astronomical debt. Only God Himself could pay such a debt. Since the wages of sin is death, it would take His death to pay that debt. So God would have to take on flesh, become mortal, so He could suffer and be killed. Being a trinity, three in One: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, it was possible. God, the Son, Jesus took on that task. Every debt for every sin has to be paid, so anyone who would come to Jesus for salvation, could come to Jesus. Even our individual debt for sin, disobedience to the Creator, was something we could never pay, as even our righteousness is as filthy rags. We could never do enough or be righteous enough to pay sin's debt. So after our physical death we would be thrown into the soul prison of Hell, until the end of time, when Hell itself was thrown into the Lake of Fire, the 2nd death. Jesus paid the debt of the world by taking on the sin of the world on the cross and suffering and dying, after living the perfect, sinless life in His human body.. Only a perfect human could pay that debt for sinful humanity. And though Jesud paid all of our debts, it has to be accepted and received according to the terms set by God, the Father. Those terms include repentance--not only being sorry but turning away from our sinful ways to Jesus.. Then surrendering to Jesus as our Lord and Master, our King. This salvation is only available during our lifetime. After that, if we have not accepted it, we face the judgment according to what we have done as recorded in God's books. I am thankful Jesus paid for my sin debt and that I have accepted and received that salvation according to God's guidelines and have repented and surrendered my life to my Lord and Master, my King Jesus! Stay Strong! Don't let the payment Jesus made for you be in vain! Repent and surrender your life to Jesus as your Lord and Master, your King and receive that salvation! NAN

View MoreApril 30, 2026, the 120th day of 2026 As April Ends At our house we take each day as it comes. And we give each of our days to God at its start. No matter what comes our way, we trust God with it. Today seems to be one of those days to give another weather update. With a low of 28°F and rain in the forecast, it really was no surprise that we had snow flurries this morning before the rain set in. My daughter went to Bible Study this morning, only about 15 miles away. They had snow showers, snow started piling up on the ground and a white out for the way home. We only had flurries that turned to rain, then turned back to flurries for a bit. This week's predicted overcast skies and highs in the 50's annd 60's never really showed up, except for Tuesday which reached 65°F, but had a cool breeze that felt more like Fall than Spring. On and off rain showers this week mand highs that were in the 40's, were what we mostly experienced. And today was no exception, it looks like we will barely reach 40°F. But as the day goes on and rain turned back to snow, 38°F may have been our high. With it dipping into the mid 20's tonight, it is hard to say what we will wake up to tomorrow. Hopefully not snow for May Day. Chilly and wet does make for a day to spend outdoors unless you have to. We have outside chores, but then are back nside, doing inside things and looking forward to a time that we can get more outside work. We started up the woodstove again, put on some soup and some spiced tea to simmer. Snuggly warm inside now. Spring only lasts so long, so to have lost this many days of good weather makes it hard. Spring flowers last long in the Spring, but wilt quickly in the Summer. Since we have not had any Spring flowers yet, I am not sure when we will get them. With scattered showers most of this week, it is back to being a bit muddy again after the drying from the meltong snow. When I took a walk on Tuesday, a chilly breeze, but partial sunny, the last snow pile that I can see on our road, had shrunk more. But it had not melted away yet. In our yard our snow is gone and our yard clear. We even have some plants peaking out and some buds on trees. But not a lot yet. Not many signs of Spring for the last day of April. We shall see what May brings! Stay Strong! Every day is unique onto itself. Enjoy them. NAN
