Hi, I’m the creator behind The Long Way Back.
I make narrative-driven visual novels and small interactive projects focused on emotional realism, quiet moments, and characters who are trying to survive rather than “win.” My work leans dark, introspective, and personal, with an emphasis on atmosphere, internal conflict, and slow storytelling.
My current project follows Violet, an anthropomorphic canine navigating institutional pressure, burnout, medication, loss of direction, and the long, uneven process of finding her footing again—alongside her ferret companion, Spite.
I work at a human pace. Updates may be slow, uneven, or experimental, and that’s intentional. This space is for works in progress, devlogs, demos, and ideas that are allowed to exist before they’re perfect.
If you enjoy:
story-first visual novels
flawed protagonists
quiet dread, exhaustion, and recovery
projects made with care rather than crunch
…you’re in the right place.
Thanks for being here and for tracking the journey. 🖤
