is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to soothing shelter animals through live music. Founded in 2023 by 10-year-old Yuvi Agarwal, an animal lover and musician who recognized how music calmed his dog Bozo and wondered if it could do the same for homeless animals in shelters.
With a little research, Yuvi quickly discovered that music lowers stress hormones in pets, allowing them to relax and more easily connect with humans, and that live music could provide valuable enrichment. Since then, he’s been working to share the program and help as many homeless pets as possible.
Wild Tunes has grown to six states with more than 400+ volunteers and 20 shelter partners. Through its annual Melodies of Gratitude Concert, in the past three years, the organization has raised more than $125,000 to benefit local shelters in Houston.
