We have received planning permission from Camden Council for a transformative new building extension, unlocking a major opportunity to extend our impact as one of the world’s leading centres for Holocaust research, education and remembrance.
Current opening hours and important visitor information
The Library is open Monday – Friday, 10am – 5pm.
The Reading Room closes early on Fridays, at 1:30pm
The Library is closed on Bank Holidays.
Closure Notices
The Library will open later on Wednesday 22 April. The Reading Room will open at 11am, and the Exhibition Gallery at 1:00pm

Join us for the London book launch of the volume, Older Jews and the Holocaust, co-edited by The Wiener Holocaust Library’s Acting Co-Director, Dr Christine Schmidt, Dr Joanna Sliwa (Claims Conference), and Elizabeth Anthony (US Holocaust Memorial Museum) and published by Wayne State University Press in cooperation with the US Holocaust Memorial Museum.
