Eligibility

  • Open to current ASU students of all gender identities, with a focus on empowering women and non-binary individuals in tech.
  • Teams of up to 1-3 people are allowed.
  • All skill levels welcome – this is a beginner-friendly hackathon!

Project and Submission Requirements

  • Create a technical project (software or hardware) that addresses a real-world issue or aligns with one of our tracks 
  • Projects must be new and started during the event.
  • You may use open-source libraries, APIs, and publicly available datasets.
  • Your project must adhere to our Code of Conduct.

What to submit

Each team must submit the following via Devpost before the deadline:

  • Project Name & Description
  • Devpost team member list
  • Open Source GitHub repo or source code files (DON'T FORGET to make it public before submission)
  • Demo video (1–3 minutes) that explains your project and shows how it works
  • Any other materials requested by judges (e.g., documentation, readme)

Code of Conduct

  • Our team will take appropriate action to ensure safety, which may include speaking with the person responsible, removing them from the event without a refund, or contacting campus security or local law enforcement.
  • We expect all participants to follow these rules at the event venue and during any hackathon-related activities.
