ICName: Whitlea
Fandom: Pokemon Black and White
Version: V1
Canon point: Post-defeating Alder
Personality:
One way to sum Whitlea up in four words would be using the Natures normally reserved for Pokemon: Gentle, Jolly, Hardy, Stubborn. She's a kind, friendly and helpful girl with an enthusiastic demeanor, who has gone through her fair share of victories and defeats. She's a strong, loyal and determined girl who never lets up when it comes to battling and bringing evil teams like Team Plasma to justice. She believes in the best of people (save for Team Plasma, and even then there's some exceptions there), and always encourages her Pokemon to do their best.
First, let's examine her Gentle side. She's kind and helpful, as shown when she went after Team Plasma grunts in the hopes of getting her friend Bianca's Munna back from them. Someone needs help? Don't worry, she'll try her hardest to give assistance. Someone's Pokemon has been stolen? She'll track down the thieves and take the Pokemon back to their owner. This is part of the reason why her Pokemon look up to her: she's a kind and gentle person who helps out a lot, and takes care of her own team as well.
Second is her Jolly side. Whitlea here has a slightly better sense of humor than her friend Cheren, often smiling and sometimes cracking jokes that don't get as much laughs as she'd like. She's enthusiastic, though, and gets excited over a lot of things. She's also optimistic, always looking on the bright side of things and trying to get people to see the world through rose-colored glasses as well. She's cheerful, sometimes to the point of annoyance, but really, she just likes smiling a lot. This is another part of the reason why her Pokemon believe in her: she's optimistic, always thinking of problems as blessings in disguise.
Third, let's look at her Hardy side. You aren't a Trainer unless you've experienced defeat, and believe me, Whitlea has her fair share of those. However, she always takes them as opportunities to train her team and look over her strategy, and will never give up until she thinks she's ready. In the same way, when it comes to serious business either related to or outside of battling, she's the type to tackle the problem head-on, solution or no solution.
Fourth is her Stubborn side. Whitlea's a bit like a cockroach: You can't keep her down forever, since sooner or later, she'll come back stronger than before. While most people would run off if ever threatened or give up when it looks like they'll fail, she's the type to challenge the situation and do her best to turn the tables to her favor. Once she's set her mind on a goal, nothing can stop her from trying to accomplish it.
However, there are drawbacks. Her stubbornness, which has served her well many times, has also landed her in some hot water. At times it seems like she has a total lack of a sense of self-preservation, from the way she recklessly charges into situations without first thinking up a plan. With her recent win and new position as Champion, she's also gotten a little too confident for her own good, which just increases her already enormous disregard for her own safety. After all, she's the Champion, she's practically undefeatable by now.
Still, in conclusion, there's no denying it: Whitlea is still a kind, helpful and friendly girl, who's also rather cheerful and optimistic, if a little proud and way too stubborn for her own good.
Abilities:Whitlea here is the current Champion of the Unova League. That means she's one of the, if not the very, best Trainer in Unova. However, take away her Pokemon team, and you'll be left with a young girl who has absolutely no fighting ability whatsoever. She will try to put up a struggle, though, for all the good it would do her.
