I have been thinking a lot about how to do this challenge differently and I have come to a conclusion. Instead of doing two shows at a time and alternating, I will choose one Joss show and the first challenge will be focused on that, the second challenge each week will be focused on all Joss shows and give you free reign images wise. So having said that lets get to the new Challenges.

Challenge 1-2007 - Buffy - Beneath You.

You may use any images from this episode and this one only
All brushes and textures allowed
You may make 3 icons
You may animate only one
All entries due Jan 31st at midnight PST

Challenge 2-2007 - Sadness

Any image of a character crying, or just all together sad from Firefly, Buffy, or Angel

Hello all, as you know I run several icon challenges like this one such as illyria_still, mars_vs_mars, just__willow, and now there is a new icon challenge that focuses on all TV shows and the actors involved... everyone check out tv_showdown. We are modeled after ulttvchallenge, another community all should check out and join. I hope to see everyone there and as soon as we have 10 members I will start the first challenge.

First and formost I want to welcome everyone to whedonsworld and introduce the mods. I am Marissa aka willowgraphics and yammerer_willow our other mod is bubbles_girl778 and our fabulous banner maker is eviltera. Each round will have two challenges, one dedicated to a particular show or episode, and one open to any aspect of the Jossverse. Challenges will run two weeks for now, with a midchallenge reminder at the end of the first week and a last minute warning the night before the challenge ends. Every challenge will end at midnight on the end of that second week and all entries must be posted in comments. All comments will be screened and anonymous. Every icon entered must be a new creation and not posted anywhere else. If it is revealed that an icon has been used before you will be removed from the challenge. We do not tolerate cheating!

Challenge One: Community Makeover

We need a header and community icon. The header can be no larger than 700 wide by 400 tall and the icon must meet LJ standards. This is free range, inclusive of all things Joss and the name of the community must be somewhere on both. All entries due Midnight July 3rd

Challenge Two: Big Damn Heros!

- Must be a BDH from Firefly or Serenity
- you may make up to 3 icons or headers
- Brushes are allowed including tiny text brushes
- entries due at midnight July 3rd.
