Warwick's flagship on-campus hackathon is back for 2025!
Following a huge success with the first ever WHACK last year, we're working hard to make it even better - and are now opening our doors to ALL university students nationwide!
Look forward to free food all weekend, sponsor events, unforgettable activities, and of course, the chance to showcase your own project all in 24 hours!
Now, all that's left for you to do is bring a laptop, friends, and some creativity. We'll handle the rest.
Requirements
What to Build
During the hackathon, we will reveal the 3 problem statements from each of our title sponsors. Select ONE problem statement to go for, and sometime during the event we will collect from your team your choice.
Depending on the statement, create whatever you think matches the criteria for the problem! This could be a web application, an ML model, etc, whatever you think aligns best with what is being asked!
What to Submit
When you come to submit your project, submit it on devpost with plenty of images and your team name. You will then in the afternoon present your project to your chosen sponsor, and winners will receive prizes from a pool of over £4,500!

Judging Criteria

5 Minute Presentation Slot
You and your team will be given a 5 minute slot to present your project to your chosen title sponsor. Use the 5 minutes as you like! Perform a live demo, create a powerpoint, etc, any form that you think best shows what you did!
