Our Impact
Since 2017, the Women’s Foundation of Massachusetts has made a meaningful difference in the lives of more than 30,000 women & girls.
Our mission is clear and unwavering: to economically empower women and girls across Massachusetts through creating and funding high impact leadership and economic programs in partnership with women’s and girls’ nonprofits. We do this by mobilizing generous support from philanthropic donors and directing those funds to high-impact programs.

The Foundation partners with nonprofits dedicated to women and girls by funding high-impact initiatives in education, leadership and mentoring, and career and financial empowerment. Programs supported by Foundation grants include job training, financial literacy, STEM education, entrepreneurship, and more.
