WeldSight by Olympus NDT is a Windows-based software platform designed for automated and semi-automated ultrasonic weld inspection. It unifies data acquisition, scanner control, and advanced visualization to help technicians set up, execute, and analyze inspections on plates, pipes, and girth welds using phased array UT, TOFD, and conventional UT.
Key capabilities include guided setup with transducer and wedge libraries, focal law and calibration tools, multi-group phased array support, synchronized encoder-based scanning, and real-time B-scan, C-scan, and S-scan displays. The software provides indication sizing and characterization features, along with comprehensive, template-driven reporting for traceable, code-aligned results. WeldSight integrates with Olympus instrumentation such as the FOCUS PX phased array controller and supports a wide range of encoded scanners and motion systems used in production environments.
