Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting December 29th 2025 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

2Fly, learned piano in elementary school and was a middle-school band kid, playing percussion. He got his start with electronic music back in 1986 using Will Harvey's Music Construction Set published by Electronic Arts on an Amiga 500. During the mid 90s he picked up his first synth and workstation, a Korg 01/W FD, using it to jam around for self-enjoyment. Adulting and other interests took priority for several decades, drawing him away from working on music. He began collecting gear again in 2024 and 2025. During 2024 he began practicing with a guitarist friend with the intention of performing at local breweries and bars but his friend's health struggles has hampered that possibility. In 2025, another friend who played drums was rebooting his old band and was seeking a keyboardist to play 70s and 80s music. It looked like a great opportunity, but the reboot disbanded before its first public performance. So in 2026, determined to share his songs and musical ideas with the world, he began participating in the WeeklyBeats challenge. Here are improvised songs created first for WeeklyBeats.
