Judging Criteria
-
Innovation and Creativity (30%)
evaluated on how original and novel your idea is. This includes thinking outside the box, using creative approaches to solve problems, and presenting features that set your project apart from existing solutions. -
Technical Implementation and Complexity (30%)
Judges look at the quality of code, the robustness of your architecture, use of modern web technologies, and integration with APIs or other tools. Efficient, scalable, and thoroughly tested solutions score higher. -
User Experience and Design (20%)
Good functionality must be paired with an intuitive, engaging user interface. Judges consider design aesthetics, accessibility, responsiveness, and how smoothly users can interact with your web application. -
Impact and Usefulness (10%)
Projects should solve a relevant, real-world problem or fulfill a significant need. Judges will evaluate the potential impact of your solution: who benefits, how much value is added, and the feasibility of adoption or scaling. -
Presentation and Demo Quality (10%)
Effective communication matters. Judges assess how clearly you present your project—through your pitch, demo video, and written descriptions. A concise, engaging demonstration that highlights key features and value proposition will impress.
