About codedrama.eth

Code Drama is coined by Mearaf Tadewos Tiranchie. It's a witty name given to the phenomenon in the programing ecology where the code you wrote, optimized, tested and deployed and have been functioning well for a while before but now it doesn't work properly, error logs don't speak your language anymore, the debugging process is getting very confusing and stressful and your are questioning you're decisions in life. Having worked in building different APIs interacting with third parties or SDKs and interacting with APIs from the front end, using libraries and dependency injections in codes, trying to meet deadlines, etc... I sure i countered this phenomenon several times in my 12+ years of learning and building with code including university. So, to sweeten up the reference and our memories of this rather gruelling experiences, I decided to coin it in a little witty way and called it _> code drama; because, let's be honest it looks like a dram, some times it is as though code has its own life :) Well, it has its own technical intricacies causing that behind the scenes, that can be us simple us library updates or some where in the jungle of the program a dependency function is depreciated or many other response. And these experiences far from fun for me, i want to be efficient, so going back at things again and again for things like that feels wasteful, and draining, most of makes me go "Why? Whhhhyyyy? for the love of goodness, can i just go back to my solving the actual problem task pleeeeaasse?" hahaha. I want the world share a light hearted jokes on some sides of our jobs, because who said who should be grumpy all the time :) Smile, it looks good you ;)
