Eligibility

Only in-person teams, registered and approved on our main page at will https://lu.ma/weavehacks will be considered for submission and prize eligiblity.

Code must be in a GitHub repo, and repo must be open (So we can see it. Code and rights are your own ofc)
Entire project must be built at the hackathon. No extending previous projects.
Work must be primarily your own.
Project must use W&B Weave (it’s literally 2 lines of code to check this box. https://wandb.ai/site/weave/)
Must be present in-person at the hackathon to create and demo your project. No remote participation.
Cannot work for one of the sponsor orgs (sorry Google folks)

Project and Submission Requirements

A open Github repo with your agents and instructions to run
Explanation of which protocol (A2A, ADK, MCP) you used for the agent
Usage of W&B Weave is REQUIRED to win, submissions must open the W&B Weave project and share traces with Judges
Usage of sponsor tools like BrowserBase, Exa.ai, Fly and Crew are encouraged

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Your submissions will be judged by human Judges, based on criteria such as creativity, technical implementation, reliability and accuracy, usage of protocols, presentation and usage of Weave.
