The 28 Nosler was released in 2015 and is based off a 300 Remington Ultra Mag but with a rebated rim. The 28 Nosler is touted as the fastest 7MM on the market today and has a large case capacity capable of pushing large, high BC bullets. The 280 AI was developed by Parker Otto (P.O.) Ackley. P.O. was a lot like Roy Weatherby, a wildcatter who was in search of better solutions. His 280 AI set out to improve the .280 Rem by steeping the shoulder to 40 degrees to increase powder capacity.
