A co-founder of WealthBridge, Robert specializes in providing investment management, financial planning, and complex trust and estate counsel planning counsel to some of Calgary’s most successful individuals. He also serves as Chief Compliance Officer of WealthBridge Investment Counsel Inc.

Robert has over 30 years of experience as a financial advisor with major financial institutions Prior to WealthBridge Robert was with Canadian Wealth Management, which he joined in 2000 as a Senior Financial Advisor. In 2001, he established and became President of CWM Funds Inc., the mutual funds dealership of Canadian Wealth Management. In the spring of 2002, he was made Partner in Canadian Wealth Management Group and was appointed President in 2005. In 2008, Canadian Wealth Management was sold to Société Générale.

Robert is an economics graduate of the University of Regina, he is a member of the Calgary Estate Planning Counsel and The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP), and he holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. Robert has completed the Institute of Corporate Directors, Directors Education Program (ICD.D).

Robert is an active board member in the Calgary community – He currently serves on the board of the Calgary Chamber of Commerce.  He is also past chair of the Calgary YMCA, past member of the Board of Directors of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and served on the Board of Directors of St. John’s School of Alberta.

In 2002, Robert was honoured to receive a “Top 40 under 40” award by Calgary Inc. magazine in recognition of his outstanding business and community contributions.

In January 2026 Robert was appointed to the Board of Directors for the Alberta Heritage Fund Opportunities Corporation. In his capacity as Director and Chair of the Investment Committee, he provides strategic oversight and governance to the Alberta Heritage Fund, one of Alberta’s most vital economic legacies. This appointment reflects Robert’s commitment to long-term fiscal stewardship and his dedication to the mission of the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund: to provide prudent stewardship of the savings from Alberta’s non-renewable resources by providing the greatest financial returns on those savings for future generations of Albertans.

In 2002, Robert competed in the Canadian Ironman Triathlon and, in 2005, the 109th running of the Boston Marathon. Robert also enjoys mountaineering and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
