Khaleel Asgarali is a professional table tennis player and the owner of the Washington D.C Table Tennis Center. Khaleel has set himself the mission to increase the awareness of table tennis, more commonly known as ping pong, in the Washington D.C, Maryland, and Virginia areas.
In order to accomplish this, he helps players improve regardless of their age, fitness level, or skill level to become the best version of themselves– all the while being welcoming, patient, and professional as he is known to be around the globe.
When Khaleel turned 11, he started to move up the table tennis ranks into the junior level for the United States. An achievement that not many can reach in their professional careers. This marked the next stage of his career, when he returned to Trinidad and Tobago, where he would go on to win the men’s singles national championship titles in 2003 and 2005. Later on in his career, Khaleel would go on to play in England and Sweden, helping him expand his knowledge of table tennis by learning from world-class professionals in the sport.
Currently, Khaleel is still a member of the German Table Tennis League. However, his most significant focus at this moment is his club in Washington D.C and nearby areas. Khaleel wishes to help those interested in table tennis to become excellent players through his training.
